COVID-19 Response plan

Update 5/15/2020

The entire world is living in an unprecedented historic moment as we fight the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic together.

On March 23, 2020, the Governor of Massachusetts issued an order to designate COVID-19 Essential Services and temporarily close business and organizations that do not provide essential services in order to prevent the spread of the virus. The order remains in effect through May 25, 2020 when business may begin a phased reopening.

This order designated Air transportation employees including air traffic controllers, ramp personnel, aviation maintenance, and aviation management workers including contracted vendors providing services for air passengers as Essential Service providers.  As such, Air Bear Aviation has maintained our current business operations at Boston Logan International (BOS), Hanscom Field (BED) and Beverly Regional Airport (BVY).

Air Bear Aviation is continuously working to modify our procedures and employee work areas to keep our employees safe and healthy while also being able to support our customers and flight departments around the world with the quality of service and products you are accustomed to and expect from our company.

We will continue to monitor this evolving situation and adapt our procedures as necessary in order to maintain our employee’s safety, while still conducting maintenance operations and AOG services throughout New England.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who are suffering from this global pandemic and we look forward to better days ahead as quarantines expire and people begin to travel once more.  As always, thank you for your business and support over the past 15 years.

Warm Regards,

Thomas A. Bear

President and CEO
